MAIN LINE (LINE #1)![]() Metal parts are racked on an overhead conveyor traveling 8-10 feet per minute. They first pass through an iron phosphate wash. Then they pass through three rinses. The parts continue through a dry-off oven into the electrostatic powder coating booth where the powder is charged through special guns. The
powder automatically attracts to the grounded part. At this point the
parts enter the cure oven where they bake for approximately 15 minutes
(depending on part density) at approximately 375 degrees. Once they exit
the oven, they only need to cool for a few minutes. The parts are counted,
inspected and ready for packing. Characteristics:
